Parent and Child Psychological Services is a small pediatric group private practice located in Sarasota, Florida. Applications are also being accepted for post-doctoral fellows, licensed Psychologists or Master's level clinicians. Sarasota is a beautiful area on the Gulf Coast of Florida with an active arts community.
Parent and Child Psychological Services of Sarasota provides high quality therapy services to children, adolescents, and their families using largely Evidence-Based Treatments (EBTs). We believe in creating a supportive, warm team environment that promotes continued training and learning, and providing treatments proven to be effective. Many of our referrals are specific requests for Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and PCIT for Selective Mutism. We also provide PCIT adapted for Older Children, PCIT-CALM, Coping Cat for Anxious Youth, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Habit Reversal Training (HRT) for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
